The past month has been tough to get fish with the water being very cold and business being super slow. Went for a fish yesterday with my wife Narelle and friend Lorna. To my suprise the water has warmed up significantly being 28.5 degrees and there was a fair bit of bait around for the first time in a while. Despite the neap tides we managed to catch a couple of barra and lost a few as well. Lorna who has been in the territory for over 20 years finaly caught her first barra a nice 67cm fish. So with a bit more movement in tides coming, good water temp and some bait in the system I am anticipating the fishing will start to pick up from here on.
